Scottsdale, Ariz., May 24, 2016 — Apriva, the leading provider of secure end-to-end wireless transaction processing solutions, today announced it has completed an additional EMV certification for its AprivaPay™ Mobile application on First Data’s Omaha platform. This certification builds on Apriva’s mobile EMV efforts, offering added choice to their comprehensive payments solutions.
This critical certification with First Data enables EMV chip and signature payments via Apriva’s white labeled payments application, AprivaPay Mobile. Both iOS and Android devices will be able to accept EMV payments when paired with a Walker 1.0 card reader device. Compatible payment forms include Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and Samsung Pay. This highly affordable solution will be available through Apriva’s reseller partners.
AprivaPay Mobile turns any Apple or Android device into a mobile point of sale. This streamlined, EMV-certified application is geared towards small and mid-sized businesses, and can be used in any storefront or mobile venue. Complete with Apriva’s Online Merchant Portal, AprivaPay Mobile allows businesses to easily measure and track purchases, manage inventory and run reports. This versatile, customizable solution can fit the unique needs of any merchant, providing an affordable, secure way to accept payments.
