Scottsdale, Ariz., April 26, 2017 — Apriva, a leading provider of omnichannel payment solutions and secure mobile communications, announced today that it has completed EMV certification to the Global Payments processing platform for PAX Technology Inc. (PAX) S80, S90, and S300 devices connecting over the Apriva Gateway. This certification expands Apriva’s EMV offerings to deliver enhanced payment options to merchants and their customers and includes all major card brands: Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.
- The S80 is a durable, high-performance countertop terminal that connects via dial or Ethernet and delivers fast, reliable transaction processing.
- The S90 terminals offers superior wireless performance over both CDMA and 3G networks, with a large memory and a high capacity Lithium-ion rechargeable battery.
- The S300, with its large color touch screen, is the latest semi-integrated payment solution for merchants and integrators who wish to offer a superior merchant and cardholder experience.
The PAX devices accept magnetic stripe cards, EMV signature and chip-and-PIN cards, and NFC/contactless payments (optional for the S80).
